Global Impact & Initiatives

International Spotlight & Registry Initiative

Expanding cross-border scholarly collaboration and advancing structured orthogeriatric data infrastructure across nations.

International Spotlight

IJGO Goes International – Singapore

Issue 3 marks an important step in IJGO’s international development with original hip-fracture outcomes research from Singapore. The contribution expands the journal’s cross-border scholarly network and reinforces the need for comparable, structured orthogeriatric outcome data across countries.

Registry Initiative

From Singapore to an Indian Hip Fracture Registry

The Singapore contribution demonstrates the value of structured hip-fracture data on function and quality of life. IJGO proposes to convene a national academic discussion toward a prospective Indian Hip Fracture Registry with a standardized core dataset, transparent governance, patient-centered outcomes, and future interoperability with international orthogeriatric registries and research networks. This is an IJGO editorial initiative and planning forum; it should not be represented as an established national registry until governance partners formally establish it.
